Thinker cell in the room-in-room principle as a self-sufficient room element

Room-in-room electrification

vetroCUBE is delivered ready for use

The room-in-room system vetroCUBE is delivered with ready-to-use 230 V electrification. All electrical elements installed in the room are fully wired internally using a pluggable cable harness that is protected against polarity reversal. For 230 V electrification, all functions come together in a control box on the ceiling element. Here we find the interface, a Wieland GST18i3FS2RV socket, for the on-site mains connection. Our technicians temporarily connect a test cable and test all functions. The local electrician must be responsible for the formal commissioning. For the data electrification, the person responsible hands over the appropriate cables to us so that we can pull them into the solid walls of the room-in-room system to the prepared slots during installation.

room-in-room with electrification

  • Connection cable can be fed from the floor or ceiling
  • Internally pre-wired via reverse polarity protected plug-in wiring harness
  • Control box with defined interface for the mains connection on the ceiling element
  • Plug-in panels or interfaces for power and data on request (Schuko, RJ 45, USB, HDMI, etc.)
  • Intelligent lighting and ventilation control via presence detector and touchscreen
  • Building management system interface option
  • Optional system base for cable routing

Connecting to the building structure:

As self-sufficient as the room-in-room system is, it must be connected to the customer's electrical and data system. For the 230 V connection, the defined interface can be found on the ceiling element of the vetroCUBE. If the cables come from the ceiling, the small switch box, the control box, is directly accessible. If the cables come from the floor, they must first be routed upwards through a solid wall element to the ceiling element. Appropriate cable lengths must be provided on site so that our fitters can pull them in directly. The same applies to data cables. We also pull these in, if provided by the customer.

The room-in-room system can be adapted to your individual electrical requirements

The standard electrical equipment of the Denker cell according to the room-in-room design consists of a ventilation unit, an LED linear luminaire, a presence detector, a wireless push-button for switching and dimming the luminaire and a flush-mounted socket unit with three 230 V earthed sockets and two RJ 45 patch-to-patch fields for data cables.

Intelligent control of the room-in-room system

Light and ventilation are controlled in the standardized room-in-room electrification via the presence detector embedded in the ceiling. The light and ventilation are switched on when the room-in-room system is entered. The user can adjust the lighting and ventilation via a TFT display (touchscreen). The light can be dimmed according to requirements. The ventilation can be briefly set to "air shower" for approx. 30 seconds, thus doubling the volume flow. After this time has elapsed, the ventilation returns to the preset value so that the fan cannot be heard. If the user leaves the vetroCUBE, the presence detector switches the light off promptly and allows the ventilation to run on for approx. 10 minutes. The fan then switches to "keep fresh" mode. It delivers a minimum volume flow of approx. 50 m³/h between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., so that the vetroCUBE is always "ventilated". All parameters can be individualized by the facility management via a stored PIN.

Interface to building management systems

On request, we can implement an interface to the building management system for the room-in-room system. In this case, we connect the control system of the room-in-room unit to a gateway specially developed for this purpose. This gateway is connected to the building management system via a Modbus TCP/IP protocol. The building management system then has the option of controlling the vetroCUBE and/or reading status information from the room-in-room unit. Optionally, an additional TFT screen can be connected to the control system to display booking information from a higher-level system. Detailed information on the information that can be read out or displayed is available in tabular form on request. Just get in touch with us.

quick delivery program

Quickly available and highly flexible. Four room types offer you intelligent and versatile configurations for your communication zone.

Locations

The room-in-room design opens up the space, even in non-office properties

Room acoustics

vetroCUBE offers soundproof retreats in the open space. Employees find retreats for group work.

Electrification

vetroCUBE is supplied with ready-to-use 230 V electrification. The "plug and play" principle applies, so commissioning is simple.

Ventilation

The Thinktank vetroCUBE's own ventilation system ensures the supply of fresh air. An acoustically optimized fan box sits on the ceiling.

Cooling

The vetroCUBE system offers the room cooling option. Long periods of use and dense occupancy can lead to the cube heating up.

Light

The vetroCUBE think tank offers a flexible LED lighting concept. It can be adapted to different uses and different sizes.

Construction

The vetroCUBE room-in-room system is a modular system. The cubes can be individually adapted to sizes and design requirements.

Fire protection

The room-in-room system can be easily equipped with the necessary fire protection technology, smoke detectors, sprinklers and/or loudspeakers.

Individualization

The room-in-room system can be tailored to any customer's wishes in terms of size, equipment and decoration.

Room types

The think tank can be optimized for many applications. Here are a few examples. Tell us what you want. We will build your vetroCUBE.
